Claire & Josh’s Colorful Wedding at Gatherings at Station 10

When Claire and Josh came to us with their vision for a wedding bursting with color and personality, we knew it was going to be something special. Their venue, Gatherings at Station 10 in St. Paul, provided the perfect backdrop for a vibrant, one-of-a-kind celebration filled with joyful details and intentional floral design.

Bringing the Vision to Life

One of Claire’s main ideas was to incorporate colorful lanterns throughout the space, creating a festive and whimsical atmosphere. We worked together to source the perfect set from Etsy, ensuring they fit seamlessly into the rest of the wedding design. Alongside the lanterns, we added cascading floral carnation chains and gorgeous fabric drapery, bringing movement, color, and texture to both the ceremony and reception.

The Florals: Local & Unforgettable

Claire’s bridal bouquet was a true showstopper, packed with locally grown flowers that reflected the full spectrum of their color story. We incorporated:
🌸 Dahlias – Vibrant and full-bodied, the epitome of summer beauty.
🌿 Nerine – Delicate and whimsical with a playful texture.
🌞 Marigold – A symbol of warmth and happiness, adding a rich golden hue.
💙 Delphinium – Bringing in a soft touch of blue.
💫 Anthurium – A statement bloom that added a contemporary edge.

Each bridesmaid carried a bouquet in their own distinct color, creating a beautiful ombré effect against their classic black dresses—allowing the florals to truly shine.

Reception Details: A Playful, Modern Design

The reception space continued the theme of vibrant, joyful color.
✨ Kiwi green table runners from Linen Effects set the stage for a fresh, modern tablescape.
🕯️ Coral taper candles added a warm, inviting glow to every table.
🌼 Minimalist, color-blocked bud vases held petite floral arrangements that provided just the right amount of structure and airiness.

And let’s not forget the stunning bar arrangement—an eye-catching focal point that added a floral moment to one of the most popular spaces of the night.
