A Gathering of Florists: A Unique Experience of Collaboration and Friendship

Last week, Oak and Lily Studios invited florists from Minnesota to come together for a special meetup at The Hub in Anoka. As a community of florists who have met online, it was a truly unique opportunity for us to come together in person and create something beautiful.

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with snacks and beverages, and after a round of introductions, it was time to get to work. We were each asked to bring our favorite vessels and fresh stems that fell within a predetermined color palette. The idea was to create a "flower bar" where we could all work together to create something truly special.

As we set up our individual stations, it was clear that this was going to be an unforgettable event. There were flower growers, independent florists, wholesale reps, and even a photographer who was there to capture the entire event.

As we began to create, it was amazing to see how each person brought their own unique style and perspective to the table. It was clear that we all had different areas of expertise, and it was truly inspiring to hear everyone's stories about how they got into floristry and the specific areas that they were each a part of.

As the event came to a close, we all stepped back to admire our work. The pieces we made were truly something special, and it was a testament to the power of collaboration and friendship. Not only did we create something beautiful with our flowers, but we also created friendships that will blossom in the future.
