🌿 A Love-Filled Summer Wedding in Wisconsin
Diane & Brian tied the knot on July 13, 2024, at the beautiful Barn at Copper Creek in Menomonie, WI. Their wedding day was full of charm, love, and a little bit of unexpected weather drama — and we were so honored to help bring their floral vision to life! 💐
🎨 The Perfect Palette (Even After a Change of Plans!)
Originally, Diane envisioned a soft blush floral palette with pops of anemone flowers. But after deciding on cinnamon-colored bridesmaid dresses, she wanted to shift the color story — and we were all in! Together, we created a romantic, elevated palette featuring:

🌿 Locally Grown Pennycress
🌼 Cremones
🌸 Lisianthus
🌹 Spray Roses
🌷 Ranunculus
The result? A dreamy blend of neutral and blush tones with warm hints of cinnamon — timeless, classic, and sophisticated.
🌧️ A Stormy Twist (That Made the Day Even More Memorable!)
The plan was to have a stunning outdoor ceremony, complete with two large altar arrangements atop white plinths, aisle flowers, and wine barrel pieces marking the entrance. But on our drive to the venue, we drove straight into a torrential summer storm. It was a little scary but we made it safely — and when we arrived, the sun was shining beautifully! ☀️
We set up for the outdoor ceremony, but as guests arrived, the storm caught up with us. Without hesitation, the wedding party sprang into action and quickly moved all the florals indoors. The ceremony ended up being beautifully intimate inside the barn, with the floral installations still shining bright against the warm wood backdrop. 🌸🌿✨

This wedding was extra special to us — Diane is family! She’s a cousin of Brooke’s mom, and it meant the world to be trusted to bring her vision to life. Throughout the planning process, we had so many conversations about blooms and design, and it was a true joy to create something magical for her and Brian.
